Psalm 23 Garden and Harvest Fun!

Maybe you have seen the Psalm 23 garden at the Chelsea Flower Show. In preparation for Harvest, we have created a mini trail around our land, for you to be inspired by this ageless Psalm. Look out for the green pastures, still waters and dark valley and feast (especially for the bees!)

Our Sunday Morning Worship is at 10:00am. Come and find the final verse inside. Bring gifts of Food for our harvest display and a picnic. After worship, join us on a Harvest Prayer Pilgrimage to Bramcote Park. Alternatively, meet us at Bramcote Park by the playground at 12:30pm. All are welcome but do bring your own picnic! (and chairs if required)

On Saturday, September 25th, we will have a Zoom Quiz Night, at 7:30 p.m. All are welcome; there will be a variety of topics in 5 or 6 rounds with 2 or 3 ‘Breakout rooms’ where we can chat for a short time or just get a drink. There is no charge, but we hope that you will donate to our chosen charities. It would be great to see you all there. Message us for the Link.

With the plight of Afghan refugees and the devastation caused by the Haiti earthquake dominating our news headlines recently, our Harvest donations this year will be split between Refugee Action and All We Can. Gifts can be made by cash, cheque or bank transfer (Account number: 12077026, Sort code: 16-14-18, Account name: Trustees of Grangewood Road Methodist Church, clearly referenced “harvest”). If you are signed up for gift aid, the amount that can be claimed will be added to your donation.

Happy Harvesttime!
