BROXSTOWE FOODBANK CHRISTMAS DINNERS
Each Christmas Broxtowe Foodbank at St Martha's provide the ingredients of a Christmas dinner to approximately eighty families who have collected food parcels on the run up to Christmas. They will usually have a number of fund raising events throughout the year to finance this but as with so many things this has not been possible this year. They are therefore asking local people to contribute towards the cost of providing these Christmas dinners, approximately £10 per family. They are also asking for the contribution of goodies for kids like chocolates and sweets.
If anyone would like to contribute to this fund we'll have a collection box at Grangewood while our foodbank is open on a Friday morning 10:00 to 12:00 if you happen to be out for your exercise in our direction, put it through our door at 20 Dovecote Drive in an envelope appropriately marked or contact me, David Phillips, on 0787 379 4137.

FOODBANK CONTRIBUTIONS
Although we are limited about going out of our homes at present the foodbanks are still in need of your contributions of food and toiletries. There are a number of places you can contribute while you are out shopping or getting your exercise. The foodbank at Grangewood is open 10:00 to 12:00 each Friday morning, St Leonard’s Parish Church office collects during office opening hours and most local supermarkets have collection points.
