Prayer
Meeting

We
meet at Grangewood each Thursday 7:30 p.m. in the Wesley Room. This
meeting should be the high priority in the life of Grangewood. Acts
tells us that the first believers met together regularly to pray and
prayer meetings have been described as the 'powerhouse of the Church'.
However, this is quite a small group at the moment. We usually use
short conversational like prayers and focus on the prayers posted on
the prayer board, but not exclusively. If you want encouragement in
your prayer life, then this is the place for you. If you are not used
to praying out loud, don't let that put you off, come and join in
silently. You will gradually find that you grow a little more confident
and are able to pray short prayers out loud, and then your confidence
will grow and grow. There is not a set time to finish, but we are
usually done by 8:30 p.m..
Because of the small numbers, very occasionally there may be no one
able to make it, so if you are interested in coming along, please
contact Gill Watts to
check that someone will be there to pray with you.
